Ventis Wallpaper 1 by mindflenzing Ventis Wallpaper 1 by mindflenzing
Here is the traditional format I use for fantasy wallpaper, this time featuring my D&D LFR character Ventis. I really get a kick out of playing her. I love to see the look on a GM's face when she runs across the whole battlefield in round one, singles out his precious controller and bloodies him. She is a huntress extraordinaire.

They are Holy slayers who specialize in hounding flighty bad guys like casters or skirmishers.

Oh, I know what a Pursuit Avenger is, my last party had one. I was just asking if she was one, because it doesn't say so in the description. ^^; She sounds really cool, though, it seemed like a lot of fun to be able to run around and tear stuff up like that. :D

Yeah, with an elf you may as well go the dex and mobility route. She almost never gets her class damage bonus but at fourth level her minimum damage with a melee at-will was 15 damage. The Avenger feat that allows you to treat any damage roll of 1-2 as a 3 against your oath target works wonders when you are have Valinar weapon training and a 2d4 Falchion.

The mobility is awe inspiring. She once blew past a storeroom full of guards, up the stairs and bloodied the mage hiding up on the balcony. He thunder waved her down and she ended her turn behind him all the way back up the stairs after phasing through him. Having a Spidersilk mantle and Boots of Spider climbing in addition to already being able to ignore difficult terrain when shifting makes her a big time mage/archer killer.

Green seemed appropriate for a divine hunter of a nature goddess. It was touch and go with the pose for a while but I got it on like the 3rd or 4th try.
